Oh gosh… Where to begin! Lets start by saying that Jen, Mark, Deb and the whole family are some of the kindest, welcoming and genuine people I have ever met. It was an absolute pleasure to celebrate at the Stables Wedding Farm.
The venue: beautiful. Credit to Mark for his work. When we locked in a date with Mark in 2019 the farm was still a work in progress and a blank canvas, but upon meeting Mark and hear him share his ideas and plans we knew he would make it perfect, and that he he did!
Credit to Jen who helped us with our wedding planning and the running of our day and made it an amazing experience! I would recommend Jen 100% for your wedding planner! Friendly, approachable, with a positive attitude.
Together everyone made our wedding feel so well organized but at the same time happy and relaxed, and also very personal. It was lovely to see Mark, Deb and Jen and the team around the farm on the day, doing an exemplary job with smiles on their faces!
A perfect venue for those who want a relaxed and candid environment, and of course perfect for us animal and nature lovers and those who value authenticity and openheartedness.
Other than that stunning backdrop of the moor and the fact the venue is a local family run business, the thing that appealed to us about the Stables was the flexibility; being able to use our own vendors, but also while having great local recommendations from Mark.
The Stables Wedding Farm team did so much for us and we honestly cannot thank them enough. If I could sum up our experience in a couple of words they would be: genuine, warm-hearted, and down to earth. THANK YOU ❤️

I’ve worked here as a wedding DJ, what a great place to host your big day! Mark and his team are not only the perfect host, I witnessed them go well above and beyond to make the wedding day perfect for the happy couple! All the staff were attentive, extremely professional and it’s obvious they all really care. I would like to also extend my personal thanks for keeping me fed and watered throughout the day and going the extra mile with helping me load equipment. It’s fair to say that the sheep are over friendly and even photobombed a few of the wedding pictures, Larry the sheep even wore a bowtie. Seeing a sheep where a bowtie is a first for me and a pleasant surprise for the wedding photographer. I’ve been to a few farm based wedding venues and not many of them have proper toilet facilities, but the Stables wedding venue has permanent toilet facilities and a bar, so no need to worry about mobile toilets or indeed external service providers for the bar. Everything you need is onsite. Also, the electricity for the marquee is run from a proper electricity supply, so no noisy or smelly diesel generator like you would get at so many farm based wedding venues. I Highly recommend you give Mark and his team a call if you’re searching for a unique wedding venue with a fantastic view.

Well what can we say? Mark and Debs were lifesavers rescuing us from what could have been an absolute disaster. Our original wedding venue in Anglesey pulled out with a little over 12m to go and no explanation. Once we had composed ourself and I’d shed a few tears. One phonecall and meeting not 30mins later and all was back on track.
All I can say is that this was a true blessing in disguise. From the minute we saw the venue we both fell in love with the atmosphere and the blank canvas it would provide to us. Nothing was ever too much to ask for the team and everything we had asked for and more was accommodated no matter how big or small it was. Even if there is no immediate solution to our questions/requests, Mark and Debs were garenteed to will find the solution, even if it meant doing things ‘Outside the box’ they would go the extra mile to make the day as special as we both wanted.
We literally had the best day possible and I do truly believe the team at Stables Wedding Farm added to this and would seriously recommend them and sing their praises to whoever will listen.
10/10 doesn’t seem quite enough.

Where do we begin?!
From the hospitality, the atmosphere, the quirkiness, breath taking views for days, the rolling hills of Saddleworth, every photographers dream! The wildflowers, the love heart shaped pond, hobbit houses, hot tub, golf buggy ride up the gravel hill, this venue is just incredible, suprises & excitement at every corner!
The Stables Wedding Farm nestled away in the hills of Delph, is the most wonderful, unique, jaw dropping, beautiful wedding venue around.

The most generous, genuine, accommodating, lovely couple. From start to finish, you made our dreams come true and cannot thank you enough. We really did feel part of the family.
The wedding coordinator, Clarissa & Stables staff. Thank you for the organisation and assisting in the running order of the day. At no point did we feel stressed or overwhelmed, everything was perfect.
The food – we cannot recommend our Caterers enough. The best Lancashire Hog Roast based in Bury, Stove HB pizza and Ice cream Creations – you brought the festival vibe, variety & taste.
The music – Pop Rock Party based in Huddersfield, really do know how to party. Fab live music, we danced into the early hours.
Thank you all for hosting our ‘Ludopalooza’ festival wedding in July.
Mark & Debs, a thousand thank yous and more, for welcoming our family and friends into your amazing home and celebrating our special day with us.

Stables Wedding Farm is not just bespoke, beautiful and quirky, it is perfect to us. Every time I told someone about it or showed them pictures, they often said ‘It’s very you’. It is…but because not only did it have everything we wanted, Mark, Debbie and Jen made damn sure it had everything we wanted. Nothing was too much or impossible. If we asked, they made it happen, with smiles, warmth and genuine loveliness! They really are lovely (hard working) people who are completely dedicated to making your wedding day exactly how you want it. The setting and the venue itself are evidently flawless, but when you’re actually there the pictures barely do it justice. We waited a long time for our special day and it was worth the wait, because these people made it perfect. It really was. My new husband and I stayed an extra night in the hobbit house (the kids were in the other ones the wedding night!) and we didn’t want to leave. In fact, I cried when leaving! Stables Wedding Farm is a family run business, and that’s just it, they make you feel like family. We intend to return! Thank you SWF.

What a gem of a place this is after being let down by our original venue we contacted Mark &Deb an made an appointment to go an view the venue boy are we glad we did we were met by Mark &Deb who are so lovely nothing is to much trouble and they will do there best to turn your dream into reality the venue is in the Delph countryside with the most beautiful view’s we had the most amazing evening with our family and friends you can even bring your dog along 😀 we stayed in the hobbit house which is super cute thank you to Mark &Deb fir everything 😀 x

We were lucky enough to photograph a wedding at Stables Wedding Farm last autumn and it was such a lovely day. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The venue is beautiful and has stunning views across the valley and the spot for outdoor ceremonies is just perfect.
Also, loved the goats getting involved after the ceremony 😂
Looking forward to photographing here again one day!

I don’t actually think I have the words to describe what an incredible venue the Stables is. We booked our wedding as they were just setting up and have loved watching their journey, their professionalism, their love and their wonderful nature is just awe inspiring. Nothing it too big or too small. On the day everything was so smooth and easy and that’s down to the hard work of Mark, Deb and his team. We will be forever grateful to them (and the sheep), I can’t wait to come back and show them the photos ❤️

We had our wedding at Stables Wedding Farm last week (8th July) and we couldn’t fault them at all. Mark and Deb couldn’t do enough for us, from the first viewing, to the planning of the wedding and finally the big day itself. They really made our wedding a memorable day!

The best venue you could possibly book for your wedding! Mark and Deborah are just amazing, from 18 months ago meeting them for the first time right up until the morning after the wedding they could not be more helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they will make sure you have everything you want for your special day. The venue is amazing, they have thought of everything you could possibly need. It absolutely poured down all day for our wedding but Mark really went out of his way driving the bridal party around in his car to make sure none of us got wet getting down to the ceremony. They made sure the venue was properly equipped for such bad weather so that no one even cared about the weather and didn’t ruin the day what so ever. Jennie was also amazing running the day for us, she was always so smiley and so friendly for the whole day and kept checking in with us. She didn’t stop all day making sure it was the perfect day for us and made sure we both had a drink in our hand at all time, she’s an absolute credit to the venue. Every member of staff that worked on the day were so friendly and nothing was ever too much bother. We honestly had the best day ever.
